<p>The very notion that you stated 'the observations could help point the way toward...' shows that nature has ceased to astound us, and is just another tool of a virgin to use, exploit, mine, organ harvest, and then dispose as an extinct phenomenon formerly known as love.<br /></p>

<p>That said, the UK is NOT, never was, and NEVER will be an ally of the US. A friend ("fast friends") yes, but c'mon, they're playin' Survivor for chrissake!</p>
<p>Of course, they're a sophisticated business empire based on tea and naval warfare, but that doesn't give them the right to squat on England like that. What they do have the right to do is set the presecedent for web commerce outrage over a simple 'collaborative' pop preparatory project that went to the extreme of superceeding definition.</p>
